Women for Prosperity (WFP) is a local non-profit & non-political NGO based on voluntary services. WFP’s goal and objectives are to: empower Cambodian women to exercise their rights on equal terms with men, promote women’s self-confidence and esteem, promote women’s participation in public affairs, train and motivate women to take on leadership roles and positions.

WFP was formed in July 1994, as a nongovernment organization that seeks to empower women, to enable them to economically support their families, to experience personal safety and security, and maintain their values and identity.

WFP will continue to develop programs and activities that encourage women to take control of their lives and to participate on equal footing with men in local and national forums, assemblies and other venues on issues affecting them and the country.
